Wedding @ Damai Serendah

On 25th June, Damai Serendah became witness to a wedding for the very first time. The large land area together with the beautiful landscaping combined to create the perfect setting for a 'Garden Wedding'.

Nearby Makan Place - Six Point Riverside Cafe (near Sg. Buaya)

Six Point Riverside Cafe
So we decided to tryout this eatery near Sg. Buaya, just 10.5km away from Damai Serendah. The decoration for this place is really nicely done - imagine eating in a garden, while listening to the flowing river next door (hence the name - Riverside Cafe).

The place cooks up exclusively Asian and Western cuisines, and we tried the Dory with Wild Mushroom Sauce and Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce.

Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce

The food is just great! The Wild Mushroom sauce is especially good, and considering the affordable price, this is one place that you won't regret coming. While we only tasted the Western dishes, we realized that many other visitors ordered from the Asian menu - maybe the Asian food is delicious as well, and definitely worth a try next time we are here. Trust us - we are planning to come back here again soon!

Directions - From Damai Serendah, go back to the main road and turn left so that the Police Station will be on your right. Go straight, until you see the second traffic light at a T-junction - turn right at this traffic light. Continue straight on, pass the first traffic light at Perodua, until a second traffic light at another T-junction. Turn left towards Sg. Buaya at this traffic light. Continue along the road towards Sg. Buaya and you will pass some food stalls on your right. Not long after that, you will see the restaurant on your left, just as you pass the bridge over Sg. Koskan.

Note: most visitors park at the opposite side of the road and cross over to the shop. Just make a u-turn at the houses, and remember to cross safely while taking care of your love ones =)
